The approach of the day of the Bulgarian Constitution and the Day of the Lawyer – 16 of April, reminds us that LegalMasters.bg has a birthday.
The Beginning
On this date in 2020, we launched the platform for online legal services LegalMasters.bg.
Through this platform we provide everyone with the opportunity to receive consultation and legal assistance quickly and conveniently, saving time and effort.
In our communication with clients and institutions, we strive to make the most of the opportunities provided by the Internet.
We believe that the times when each document has to be submitted on-site and every reference or service requires waiting in line are gone. Therefore, whenever possible, all communication with us and the performance of our services are done online.
Exceptions are the actions that the law explicitly requires to be performed in person and on-site – for example, when attesting a client’s signature by a notary.
For all those who prefer face-to-face communication and consultation on-site (of course upon prior scheduling of an appointment and time for consultation), our office is located in the centre of Sofia, at 15 Petar Parchevich Street.
Development
For three years now, we have been improving and developing our website. We add new services, publish useful articles, and maintain our legal calculators up to date.
In the third year of its existence, LegalMasters.bg has been visited by nearly 46,000 unique users.
This is an increase of over 33% compared to our second year. The larger audience makes us even more responsible towards the content on the platform.
We continue to make it easier and more convenient to use.
An English version of the platform is about to be released. It will be of use for foreigners, living in Bulgaria and for citizens of other countries, planning to do business in the country. In the past year, we have already been able to help many clients like these.
Of course, the tradition of nearly 90% of our users being located in Bulgaria is maintained. Men and women are almost equally represented, with the largest share of our users being in the active age group 33-45.
Just over 10% of the website visitors are located abroad – mainly Bulgarians living abroad. This year, we have succeeded in assisting our compatriots in Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Belgium, and others.
The Strict Statistics
The statistics show that over the last year, the most visited calculator on the website is for computing notary fees for real estate transactions – you can familiarize yourself with our free calculators here.
On LegalMasters.bg, we have also launched a new section – LegalMasterClass. In this section, we publish articles explaining the legal aspects of common life scenarios.
The most read articles during the third year of the website are “Deadlines for Taxes and Tax Liabilities in 2023”, “Power of attorney – when is it necessary, what does it contain, how is it terminated and “What are the necessary documents for a real estate transaction”.
We will continue to publish new useful articles. We hope they will reach a wider audience.
Real Estate Transactions
Within the third year, our team was involved in more than 30 real estate transactions in various cities in different cities of the country. We did our best to protect the interests of our clients – buyers and sellers. Our office has vast experience in property research. We assist at all stages of property transactions, including problematic properties with encumbrances.
Our plans for the fourth year include the addition of new online package services for real estate transactions. These will make it easier for citizens and businesses to access legal services and in the difficult process of property transactions, their rights and interests to be protected. These services will be available in Economy, Basic, and Full packages (Comprehensive Assistance).
Legal Battles
Another significant part of our practice is related to representing clients in court.
We continue the tradition of successfully handling civil, commercial, and administrative cases at all levels of the judicial system. In the last year, we have litigated cases in the capital and other cities such as Varna, Burgas, Pernik, Elena etc.
Traditionally, we assist ordinary people in their battle against monopolies such as electricity, heating, and water supply companies, and against banks, debt collection companies, insurance companies, etc.
Our office has experience in executive proceedings and our clients are both creditors and debtors in execution cases.
We are not afraid of tackling tough cases, including complex property disputes such as property partitions, ownership claims, cancellation of contracts for care and support, and more.
We represent in court many Associations of Homeowners, condominium managers and professional property managers who collect amounts due by incorrect proprietors in the building.
Trading Companies
The third year of our legal office was marked by a significant increase in clients seeking assistance for their businesses.
We have assisted our clients in registering new companies, making corporate changes, and buying and selling businesses.
However, the financial crisis did not bypass businesses and we were assisting in the liquidation of the companies that had ceased operations.

We have managed to increase the number of online legal services available to you. Over the past year, we introduced the option to electronically request:

Pro Bono
On the LegalMasters.bg website, alongside the paid services of the office, you can also find our section with free-of-charge services.
These services consist of blank forms for some of the most popular life situations related to law, such as arranging termination or amendment of a lease agreement and issuing a receipt for received amounts.
Over the past year, over 250 people have benefited from them.
LegalMasters.bg on Social Media
Our platform maintains profiles on the social media platforms Facebook and LinkedIn. Through them, we introduce all the news about the website, inform about legal changes, and terms, celebrate holidays, etc.
Over the past year, we have increased the number of people following us on Facebook to over 1000, and our relatively new profile on the professional platform LinkedIn has its first 102 followers.
We believe that the feedback notes from our clients are important. Their reviews are the best advertisement for our work.
