Material interest – this is the value of the future transaction that the person will be authorized to carry out on behalf of the authorizer. It is important to note that the calculations of the notarial fee for attesting of powers of attorney concerning real estate disposal rights do not cover the attestation of the declarations that are customarily submitted together with the power of attorney at the time when the transaction occurs. Such declarations are required under the Law on the Measures Against Money Laundering, Notaries and Notarial Activities Act, and Art. 264 of the Tax and Social Security Procedure Code. They are additionally charged by the notary attesting the power of attorney. If the power of attorney consists of two or more pages, the notary will charge an additional fee for each subsequent page.
